Strategic research into archaeology in inland waters was one of Fjordr\u2019s first proposals in 2012 and became increasingly important from 2016 when Emma Firth joined Fjordr full time. Since November 2021, historic watercourses have become Fjordr\u2019s primary focus, especially through projects in support of catchment management and nature recovery.
