Fjordr started operating in January 2012, focussing on strategic research relating to the heritage of marine, coastal and inland waters. Since November 2021, Fjordr has concentrated on projects relating to river catchments and floodplains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-large-font-size\">The word <em>Fjordr <\/em>is the Norse root of Firth, fjord and ford, and means an inlet of the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\">Our website is currently under reconstruction, so please bear with us while we update our pages and reload our old blogs.
